The selected screen area is automatically converted to smart note text with the original image. By default, the name of the event is pre-filled as the note title. The converted text is accurate but can contain some discrepancies. You can edit the note text, format it, and save it to a particular folder. The saved note is visible only to you and the leaders and presenters in the session.

Storage of notes

All the notes you take during your Cornerstone Classroom sessions are saved to your '.../AppData/Roaming/Centra/SmartNotes' local folder.

When you use the SmartNotes feature for the first time in a session and exit the session, the App automatically creates a shortcut to this folder on your desktop in Windows OS so you can easily access all your session notes. For any subsequent sessions, you can use the same shortcut to view the notes for those sessions.
Note: In Mac OS, you can receive a prompt while creating the shortcut. You must click OK to proceed.

To view the SmartNotes locally, click this shortcut on your desktop. The notes open in your browser window. You can switch between the list and grid view, view notes by folder, view bookmarked notes, and view details of each note from the browser.
