Join a Breakout Room in Express client
Participants in the Express client can only join breakout rooms in classroom events.
Breakout Room In Legacy Express client
The following figure shows the legacy Express client with Breakout Room. The name of the room, Room 1 in this example, is displayed as a floating bar in the top right corner of the client window. The participant can drag and place it anywhere in the content area of the Express client.
The breakout timer color changes from gray to a blinking yellow when the time remaining is less than 30 seconds.
Breakout Room In Modern Express client
The following figure shows the Modern Express client with Breakout Room. The name of the room, Room 1 in this example, is displayed in the header.
If the event leader has set the breakout timer and if the header is fixed, then the Modern Express client displays the room name and timer in the header. If the header is hidden, then the client displays the room name and timer at the top right corner of the content/gallery panel by default. The timer is floating and the participant can drag and place it anywhere in the content/gallery area of the Express client as shown in the figure below.
The breakout timer color changes from green to red when the time remaining is less than a minute.
