Use Waiting Room

The Waiting Room feature for Cornerstone Classroom classroom and webinar events allows leaders to join an event, hold participants in a separate room, and allow them entry into the event individually or simultaneously. While in the waiting room, participants cannot hear and broadcast audio or view content in the session. They cannot interact with the leader, presenter, and other users in the event.

The Waiting Room feature is supported by both the Cornerstone Classroom app and Modern Express clients.
Important: Users using the Cornerstone Classroom app prior to version 8.5.22 are allowed to enter an event directly, bypassing the Waiting Room. To use the Waiting Room feature, users must upgrade to the latest version of the Cornerstone Classroom app.

When participants try to join a classroom or webinar event in the Cornerstone Classroom app or Modern Express client and if the Waiting Room feature is enabled, they are initially placed in the Waiting Room and are displayed the following interface with a message indicating that they are in the Waiting Room.
