Use the snipping tool
The snipping tool is a handy tool that allows you to select a particular area in the client and automatically convert it into a note.
Use the snipping tool in the App client
- Click SmartNotes menu icon.
- Click the Snipping Tool menu icon to activate the snipping tool.
- Using the snipping tool, select a particular area in the App. The selected
area is highlighted as shown below.
The selected area is automatically converted to smart note text with the original image. By default, the name of the event is pre-filled as the note title. The converted text is accurate but can contain some discrepancies. You can edit the note text, format it, and save it to a particular folder. The saved note is visible only to you and the leaders and presenters in the session.
Use the snipping tool in the Modern Express client
- Click SmartNotes menu icon.
- Click the Start Snipping icon to activate the snipping tool.
- Using the snipping tool, select a particular area in the client browser
window. The selected area is highlighted as shown below.
