Save notes in the App client
All the notes you take using the App client during your Cornerstone Classroom sessions are automatically saved to your '.../AppData/Roaming/Centra/SmartNotes' local folder.
When you use the SmartNotes feature for the first time in a session and exit the
session, the App automatically creates a shortcut (
) to this folder on your desktop in Windows OS so you can easily access all
your session notes. For any subsequent sessions, you can use the same shortcut to
view the notes for those sessions.

Download notes in the Modern Express client
The Modern Express client does not automatically save notes in a session. Instead, it
allows you to download notes while the session is in progress. To download notes,
click the Download Notes (
) icon and save the notes as an HTML file to your desired location.
The Modern Express client also prompts you to download the SmartNotes HTML file when the session is complete or when you exit the session.
