Use the Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler

The Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler allows creating classroom and meeting sessions directly from Microsoft Outlook. This feature uses the familiar Outlook interface and existing distribution lists. Invitations to users are automatically added to their Outlook Calendar.

Pre-requisites

To use the Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler for scheduling events, you need:
  • Microsoft Outlook previously installed on your machine
  • Cornerstone Classroom Scheduler for Microsoft Outlook plug-in installed
  • Cornerstone Classroom user account

Install Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler

The Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler installation can be done either by an individual user or the Administrator.

If the installation is performed by a user with administrator privileges for a machine, the installation becomes available to all users on the machine upon the login. The installer supports SAML authentication when Cornerstone Classroom is integrated with a SAML protected Cornerstone Saba environment.

The Cornerstone Classroom Scheduler for Microsoft Outlook plug-in can be downloaded and installed from the Cornerstone Classroom Management Server. For details, refer to the Cornerstone Classroom Admin help.

It can also be downloaded and installed from the Downloads page of an integrated app such as Cornerstone Saba. For details, refer to the Cornerstone Saba help.

Note: Once you install the plug-in, restart Microsoft Outlook.

Uninstall Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler

To uninstall the Cornerstone Classroom Outlook Scheduler:
  • In a Windows environment, uninstall from the Add/Remove programs menu.
  • In a Mac environment, delete the SabaMeetingOutlookScheduler.app from the applications folder.
