Enable or disable microphones of all participants
As a leader or co-presenter, you can enable or disable microphones of all participants in a session. This allows you to control microphones of all participants simultaneously. This is helpful in broadcast events where a wide audience is participating, such as company meetings or announcements.
To enable or disable microphones of all participants simultaneously in an event:
- In the Attendees panel, hover the cursor over the people
icon. The context menu appears.
- Click Mute All Microphones. The microphones of all participants are disabled. Participants cannot mute or unmute themselves in the session as their microphone button is deactivated. This applies even to any new participants joining the session.
- Click All Microphones On. The microphones of all participants are enabled. Participants can choose to mute or unmute themselves any time.
