Assign leaders for breakout rooms

The breakout room leaders are automatically assigned for each room. They are identified by the icon and the role name (BR Leader) next to the username. The Breakout Room Manager can manually change the leader in each room.

The Breakout Room Manager can assign a new breakout room leader at any time before or during the breakout session. The icon and the role name next to each user indicates the user role. Since a breakout room can have only one leader, every time you assign a new leader, the role of the previous leader automatically changes to a participant.

Users in the main room and the breakout rooms are sorted by their roles and display names.

Users in the main room are displayed in the following order:
  1. Session Leader
  2. Session Presenters (sorted in ascending order of display name)
  3. Participants (sorted in ascending order of display name)

Users in the breakout rooms are displayed in the following order:
  1. Breakout Room Leader
  2. Session Presenters (sorted in ascending order of display name)
  3. Participants (sorted in ascending order of display name)

In both the rooms, the role names of people are displayed besides their display names for easy identification.
