What is the Whiteboard?

Whiteboard is a tool that allows you to collaborate online in real time exactly the way you would collaborate using a physical whiteboard or flip chart. You can use the Whiteboard for brainstorming sessions, taking notes, or drawing diagrams.

What are markup tools?

You use the markup tools to add notes or comments that communicate ideas or provide feedback for the agenda or whiteboard content.

The following markup tools are available in Cornerstone Classroom:
  • Laser pointer and moving arrow
  • Symbols
  • Highlighting
  • Drawing
  • Lines and arrows
  • Rectangles and ovals
  • Text boxes

Who can use the Whiteboard and markup tools?

Session leaders, co-presenters, and participants can use the Whiteboard and markup tools.

Leaders and presenters have the ability to enable or disable markup tool privileges of session participants. For more details, see Enable or disable markup tools for participants.

As presenters or participants work with the Whiteboard, the content of the Whiteboard is visible to all session participants.
